Upon completion of any building for which a building permit is required, and prior to occupancy thereof, the Code Enforcement Officer shall inspect the building for compliance with this chapter and other applicable laws and regulations, including the above-referenced Code Enforcement Local Law or the Uniform Building (and related) Codes of the State of New York. If, in the best judgment of the CEO, the building meets all applicable regulations and specifications, a certificate of occupancy shall be issued and the building may be occupied. If the building or land use is in violation of this chapter, the law shall be enforced as stated in Article
XIII of this chapter, or as allowed per law or under the Code Enforcement Local Law or the Uniform Building (and related) Codes of the State of New York.
